E-invoices are issued automatically after online payment and uploaded directly to the Taiwan Ministry of Finance E-Invoice Platform
Once a freight bill or work-order service fee is paid online, the system issues a Taiwan uniform invoice and uploads it straight to the Ministry of Finance E-Invoice Platform through the official Turnkey, with no third-party invoice service in between.

What is HowBridge? What cross-border logistics services does it offer?
HowBridge Logistics is Taiwan's single-window cross-border logistics platform, offering one-stop services: China-to-Taiwan consolidation, import customs declaration and clearance, EZWay real-name verification, lookup of 12,000+ CCC tariff codes, air and sea freight cost calculators, and parcel status lookup. The Platform does not provide a purchasing agent service — please place and pay for your orders yourself on the merchant's site.
Our own warehouse in Shenzhen, a local Taiwan customs team, and customer service in 14 languages: AI customer service 24 hours a day, human agents Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00 (Taiwan time).
How is shipping from Taobao/Mainland China to Taiwan calculated? How much do air and sea freight differ?
Air freight is charged on actual weight only, with no volumetric weight, at NT$100/kg; it usually takes 3-5 days to reach Taiwan and is best for small, high-value items.
Sea LCL consolidation: volume = L×W×H÷28,316, from NT$25/kg or NT$150/cu ft, minimum NT$3,500 per shipment (quoted per product by customer service), suited to large furniture and appliances; sea express: volumetric weight = L×W×H÷10,000, charged on the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight, NT$50/unit, usually 5-10 days to Taiwan.

Do I have to pay import duty on parcels shipped to Taiwan? What is the duty-free threshold?
Parcels with a customs value of NT$2,000 or less are in principle exempt from import duty and business tax (except tobacco and alcohol, and tariff-rate quota agricultural products); above NT$2,000, you pay import duty (0%-30% depending on the tariff code) + 5% business tax; commodity tax is also levied on specific goods such as electrical appliances, vehicles and beverages, and tobacco and alcohol are subject to tobacco and alcohol tax.
Duty-free imports are limited to 6 per recipient within any half-year period. HowBridge offers automatic CCC tariff lookup and a tax and duty calculator.
What is EZWay? Is it required for Taobao consolidation?
EZWay is an express-shipment real-name verification app built and operated by Tradevan with its own investment and incorporated by the Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance into the online authorisation mechanism. For express imports declared under online authorisation, the recipient must complete real-name verification on EZWay and confirm the declaration for each shipment (per parcel); otherwise Customs may not accept that declaration. EZ Way is only one authorisation method and its use is not legally mandatory.
Declaration notices are pushed by the EZWay app; HowBridge will remind you to confirm in time and provides a complete registration and verification guide.
Where is HowBridge's Shenzhen warehouse? Is there a charge for combining parcels?
HowBridge runs its own consolidation warehouse in Shenzhen (not a sublet). After receipt, parcels are stored free for 366 days and combined into one shipment free of charge; we charge only the actual air/sea freight and any necessary import taxes — no storage fees, no shelving fees, no combining fees.

What items cannot be shipped from Mainland China to Taiwan?
Prohibited imports: narcotics, firearms and weapons, protected animal and plant species, counterfeit currency, and counterfeit goods.
Conditional imports: 3C products containing lithium batteries (BSMI certification required), cosmetics (TFDA), food (Ministry of Health and Welfare), medicines and medical devices (application required), plant seeds (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Agency, APHIA).

How do I track my parcel after it ships? What if it gets held by customs?
HowBridge provides end-to-end tracking: received at the Shenzhen warehouse → outbound → international transport → Taiwan customs → delivery to your door, with status updates and WeCom/Email notifications at every stage.
If customs selects your parcel for a C2/C3 inspection, the platform notifies you proactively and our professional customs team helps with supplementary documents, tax payment, or return handling; the average release time is 1-3 business days.
Which languages and countries does HowBridge support?
The HowBridge website supports 14 languages: Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Thai, Hindi, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian.
Our logistics lane is Mainland China → Taiwan only: parcels from Taobao, Pinduoduo, 1688 and similar platforms are received at our Shenzhen warehouse, consolidated, shipped by sea or air to our Taoyuan warehouse, and delivered to your address in Taiwan. We do not currently ship from other countries to Taiwan, nor export from Taiwan to Hong Kong, Singapore or elsewhere.
Which company operates HowBridge? Is it a legally registered consolidation and customs broker?
HowBridge is a legally registered cross-border logistics platform in Taiwan operated by 好運器資訊有限公司 (Unified Business No. 57151105). Its only official website is 0523.tw; the company is registered in Changhua County, and its operations base and Taiwan warehouse are located in Dayuan District, Taoyuan City.
HowBridge operates its own consolidation warehouse in Shenzhen (not subcontracted through a middleman). Customs declaration is handled in cooperation with AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) certified customs brokers. We can issue government uniform invoices and provide consolidation, customs declaration coordination, and EZWay real-name verification assistance.
What are HowBridge's official website and customer service WeCom account? Is the TikTok account shopeeos related to Shopee?
HowBridge’s only official website is 0523.tw. The official WeCom account is @0523tw (blue-shield verified — look for the blue shield next to the name), the WeChat ID is workshopee, and the social accounts are Facebook/Instagram “luckyconveyances”, YouTube “好運器集運 (HowBridge Logistics)” and TikTok “@shopeeos”.
shopeeos is HowBridge’s own brand TikTok account and has no official relationship with Shopee; please look for the official website 0523.tw and WeCom @0523tw to avoid confusing us with other consolidators with similar names.
